The 335is and the M3 are both built on the E9X platform
BOTH will be replaced soon
From what I know, the resale of the 335is is not good, since most people buying used would prefer to buy the 335 and get the power upgrade from BMW
This is from someone who works at a dealer
He told me the resale of 335is had gone down big time since BMW announced the performance upgrade for the 335

The M3 is a, well, an M3
Ms I general hold their value much better than the standard 3 series
You might disagree now, but you will eventually agree in a few years

And I bought a 2012 in December 2011 for $5K below sticker

You are wasting your time with all the extra info. This guy is not buying a 335, a 335is, nor an M3..Ive seen this kid post enough comments on FS threads where there is always something (ridiculous) wrong with the car. The wrong color, the miles, the transmission, the miles, the price, the lease payment, the down payment, the mats, keychain..you name it, it was mentioned.
