green pen lasers? - 5mw? 532mn?

So anybody got much experience with these?
Are the 5mw/532 jobs the ones that you can point out stars with? (what is the next level up that is powered by a bat?)
Anybody purchased one of the HK ones from ebay? Was it worth a F*?

edit
Hmm.. I guess >5mw are right out?

I'm a bit of a laser enthusiast. I have red, green, yellow, purple and blue

Green is by far the brightest and your basic green 5mW should be able to point out stars if it isn't too bright outside (like stadium lights or parking bright)

the best lasers I've gotten are from http://www.wickedlasers.com/
they are a bit expensive, but they work great.
I've tried all the big websites.
The burning ones work GREAT for pointing out ANYTHING even during the day. They are extremely bright and really go on forever.
If you want to use them to burn things, I'll tell you from experience, you need Lithium batteries, a steady hand, patience, and really close range to pop something like a balloon. You're not gonna be doing drive by tyre melting.
Whatever they advertise is true, you can light a match with them, you can rip through a black garbage bag, and the likes.
I have 4 green lasers and I'm happiest with my wicked laser one (their torch flash light was crap though, the bulb burnt out after I burnt a few pieces of paper).
Just make sure you give it some rest, and for optimal performance, use Lithium batteries.

My beam is visible in daylight with the wicked laser ones.. I have the old Elite Pro from about 3-4 years ago and still works awesomely.

If you have any more questions, let me know. I'm not super technical on them, but I think even their basic 20mW ones will do the trick for you. But if you really just want one laser, i'd go with the 125mW ones and be the envy of everyone. I personally keep my blue one on me because everyone has a green one now.

Just do not point them at a plane or anything, some guy in LA was the first person to end up in Jail for pointing a green laser at a plane as it was landing at John Wayne airport a few years back. They made a real example of that guy.

You'd probably physically burn their retina and cause permanent blind spots.
