ESS tune update

Not sure why the other thread got closed but I had one of the original handheld tuners from ESS back in 2012 and just picked up the DCT tune and got the latest engine v104 and all I can say is holy shit what a difference. The new tune is light years better then the one I was running. The car is smother and has more power, made the car a real pleasure to drive

I know? WTF was it closed for? HOLLY SHIT is right though!

I was just about to say the same thing. I was on V102 NA tune and I too just got the V104RC2 tune (I assume the RC is release candidate 2).

My engine feels MUCH more smooth too. I use to have them remove some throttle sensitivity on the old tune but this time I keep whatever settings they tweak so I dont know if its FASTER, but it sure feels like it. Response and smoothness are spot on.

Do we need to contact ESS directly for this? And is this a more recent version than what was available in June of this year (what I have)?

Contact software@esstuning.com with your full name and VIN and they will be able to look up your info.
