BMW announces M FESTIVAL for 2011 Nürburgring 24h Race

FYI... the first 100 tickets holders(only M model cars) get to take their M on the parade lap of the 'Ring - just before the 24hr race begins! When I bought my tickets last week, the first 100 slots were gone. But they will also be raffling some (saved) slots for free to guests at the M Night.

The price sounds kind of steep at first... but BMW is throwing in some M goodies, like M hats, key chains, pull over, flags, ect. Plus they have a back stage tour of the garage area and some really cool events planned. There is also Go Kart racing, a music concert at night and some special things planned. I think it's gonna be really cool event!

There ARE still some tickets available to purchase... so you better hurry up! M Festival is almost here!

I'm curious if there happens to be any US spec European Delivery cars registered for the parade? That would be pretty cool.

Well... here is a little preview of what they will show at tonight's M Night....

The M5 test car and me "raced" all the way from Aschaffenburg until Limburg on the A3 autobahn. I am sure I will see him later tonight! I think he was running low on fuel. I was really expecting him to blow me out of the water... but it turned out to be a VERY close race.

Yes there are. Few of us American GIs will be driving our US spec M cars delivered through Pentagon Military Sales. Also BMWBLOG is driving their 1M series that they just picked up through ED.
