Alright, well I was pulled over by the biggest Nazi officer in my town. He pulls over pretty much every modded car he sees and tickets for whatever he can.

Anyways, he pulled me over for loud exhaust which turned into him asking me to pop my hood. He had no idea what he was looking for as he was poking and prodding around my Dinan Intake and really just had no idea what he was doing.
My carb sticker for my Dinan Intake somehow went missing, so he cited me for CVC 27156 (tampering with a smog device). This was circled as uncorrectable.

The other citations were for Modified Exhaust, Tint, and the best one...Bald Tires. (All circled as correctable)

Anyways, I went home and ordered a new CARB sticker for the intake which is now placed in the engine bay.

Engine wise, my car is now 100% stock aside from the Dinan Intake and OEM Bypass Mod Exhaust.

Does anyone have experience with the CA State Ref on the process and what I will need to do?
Will it be as simple as showing him my CARB sticker, or will they perform the whole inspection along with smogging my car?
Will they measure my exhaust volume because of the modified exhaust ticket, even though it's listed as correctable and I can get it signed off by a regular officer?

I need a smog anyways to renew my registration, so I'm not worried about that. Only think I'm really annoyed by is the possibility of my muffler being above 95dB, which it quite possibly is.

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

where did you get a Carb sticker for your Dinan intake? can you link me. I thought they were not technically carb legal. The website says Racing product only.

funny, how enforcement seems so high in your area, while here in SF daily, I see POS civics that absolutely can't pass smog or decibel requirements

Here's the executive order for the intake as well.

Ya, I haven't gotten pulled over once in the past 2 years in this car with the exact same mods. This particular cop is a complete jerkoff.

Interesting that the EO says that the tube has exactly the same interior volume as the stock setup.
