Taking delivery this weekend...
Taking delivery of a 2013 E93 ZCP 6MT M3 (Interlagos Blue) with about 7k miles on it on Saturday and been staying awake looking at youtube videos the past few nights when I should be sleeping! It's being shipped from PA to Houston TX.
Last weekend I sold my 2012 Shelby GT500 that I had for 2 years and I'm not missing it (yet). Looking forward to the new m3 after having a 2008 335i that was freakin awesome before I got the Ford. The Shelby was fun to mod and extremely fast but not the same, obviously. Here are a couple pics of the old Shelby and the only one I have of the new M3: |

Congrats are in order! Are you not going to miss the insane power of the GT500? I've not had that much power under my foot, but I could imagine it's one hell of a rush.

Oops, typo...yes it's an E92.
Thanks! I'm fired up about getting it on Saturday. I'll make a few comments about how it compares to the GT500 after a couple weeks. Mine had a pulley/CAI/tune that took it to 573 RWHP. Pulled like a freight train. But I wasn't using the horsepower...just stacking on the miles, so I might as well have been in a V6 mustang (except for the exhaust note and all the thumbs up I got ). One thing though is that the dealer told me that as he was loading it, he noticed a couple of scratches on the rear bumper that look like they dented the plastic. Looks to be from license plate screws from another car. Obviously I got this news AFTER the car was paid for. Any idea how much it would be to fix (they're small)? I think he would be willing to refund some of my money for it. |
