How close are we to buying? I am sorry for asking so much, just excited to get these. Anyway to get on a list for purchase? Will there be a group buy? Will these cut down and on drone from test pipes?

Will we just order off your website? I want an E90 version. E90 section is very limited on items.

Pairing it with a less than 500 mile MPE v2. Don't get me wrong, I think the MPE sounds great but I was extremely motivated to enhance the sound. Mostly because I had (and still have) one of ACM's modded cans. I know people are +/- on the "quality of sound", but I thoroughly enjoyed it. HOWEVER, adding a x pipe would have been absolutely over the top for me. LOL. So, after listening to a few YouTube vids, this appears to be one of the better setups with minimal rasp. Now granted this is a "re-make" and who knows how it will sound. Below is the vid that inspired the purchase. If it's a hit...I will list the ACM exhaust (excellent condition btw); OR, I might move to sell the MPE and go a different direction. Stay tuned. Last edited by obe100; 06-03-2019 at 09:13 PM.. |

Is the challenge sport x pipe volume increase similar to an oem x pipe with test pipes? I have the Borla Atak and would prefer it stays the same or only louder in the higher rpm range.

UPS attempted delivery on mine today. Pairing it with a Dinan back section. Ill post up clips. Replacing a Macht Schnell race x-pipe that was a bit too loud for my E93.

I have test pipes and a Megan exhaust now, and I'll help report any volume changes with the Sport xpipe which is arriving tomorrow. Unsure if I can get to install this weekend.
The 200 cell Vibrant cat is less restrictive than the stock secondary cat, so I'm expecting some volume increase. How much? We'll see. |

Same here. Looking forward to hearing a video to help with my decision. I had it paired with the Challenge Race pipe and it sounded amazing. Only issue was the smell of gas. Other than that, no complaints. But would like to hear the Sport version first before getting another pipe.

Slightly off topic. I have one of the original ones, and for some reason it seems that the driver site front pipe mounts higher than the passenger one.. I've had a few people look at it and it cant be manipulated to even them out. when you guys get yours in can someone confirm if that is the same with theirs as well, or maybe I'm just an outlier.

Guys, hope I'm not getting off topic here... I've got a full dinan exhaust. Race pipe, rear section. The exhaust is a little rich, and was told with I'm running without cats right now, and was thinking of doing something to add cats back in to cut down on the smell and the yellowing of my rear bumper. Would the sport pipe here be a way to accomplish this? And will it bolt up to the Dinan?
Thanks |
