I'm blaming it on lawyers and our litigious society, in which a lady wins millions from McDs because her coffee was too hot. No kidding it's hot, it's supposed to be.

The problem in the US is, that no one can take responsiblility for their own actions. It's always someone elses fault.

We actually have the best prices and deal in the world. All a matter of perspective.

US buyers have it sorted on all fronts aside from seats and the ugly reflectors.

The reflectors are such a mute point. Go buy some painted replacements for $80 in FifthStreet's group buy.

Roughly a 30% discounted price compared to our European friends and you don't want to spend the extra $80 to get around having the ambers. Its such a non-issue, its ridiculous.

As for the seats, I bet you don't even know what you missing. Its not like you currently have those Euro spec seat cushions and will miss them.

Personally, even with a launch control available I doubt I'd use it that often. I'd rather launch it myself and enjoy it, not just sit along for the ride 'til 60 mph.

we have the highest income levels, and the lowest price...
gas is cheap compared to europe...

I'll 'put up' with the reflectors, etc., it's a small price to pay

Reflectors: US regulations, (not such a big deal anyway, easy replace/paint)

Seat bottom: :clueless: But if you have a big bottom that means lower CG . I'm hoping this will be cheap and easy to replace with Euro spec side bolsters.

Launch control: The E46 had this, it was just watered down a bit. I don't know if SMG of the US M5 and M6 have it. The DCT is not out yet and I have not heard that the US will not get launch control with it. We'll just have to wait and see.
