Got it back ... now feeling complete again
Hey all,
I haven't been around too much due to life changes but today was a great day. I got my M3 back and damn was it great to be back in it. After this coming week, I should have some more time to hang out ... hopefully closing on a house in New Tampa ... 1st home try didn't go to good. So if you see a Jerez M3 with a Frick'n LOUD exhaust riping down I275, I75 and I4 ... wave then get the hell out of my way BTW..was on I95 in Daytona today cops had the other side blocked off so a plane could take off from the highway ... guess he made an emergency landing... |

Congrats Senior B. Is it like getting a new car all over again? Any issues with the shipping? Were you able to avoid sales tax?

Congrats! I had mine out for a couple of weeks for some EDC issues, so I know the feeling of being reunited. It is like getting to have your birthday twice in the same month
Enjoy! |

good luck on that. didn't help me in CA, but hopefully FL is different. in CA they base it on time...you have to have the car in Germany for 6 months and then you are free from sales tax. good luck and let us know. glad you have been reunited!

Congrats on completing your journey!
Common sense says a car shouldn't make you feel good about yourself... .but ya know what... MINE MAKES ME FEEL REALLLLLLY GOOD!!! Days I don't drive it, but I come home and see it sitting there in the garage ... I think... damn, I miss that feeling that car gives me! Glad you are back in the states with your M3!

No that six month thing is not always the case I bought my wife Honda Accord in Germany April 07 registered with military registration shipped it to Texas and registered it in July O7 and paid no sales tax on it in Texas. I put my M3 on order before I left Germany and now it is finally being built when they ship it to me I get screwed with the sale tax
