Latest on my MY2012 E93

Some of us have had our cars held up in port or on dock to have the EPA do their certification paperwork. My car has been held up in Georgia for 3 weeks now. The dealership here in Tulsa (BMW of Tulsa (Oklahoma) who are just great fyi, I've purchased 4 of my 6 BMW's from them) let me know last nite that my car is set to be released 10-28-11. IF it is indeed released then it should be at the dealership on 10-31-11, pick up will be a couple of days after that.
I know some of you have had the same experience. So there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Tom Escue. He's a pretty decent guy. I would recommend him. I can give you contact info if you'd like.
They will try to make money on their deals. But I don't put up with it. I just tell'm invoice or I'm outta here. Bought my last 2 M3's at invoice. Just know, this is invoice, not invoice minus the holdback. Holdback on a M3 will be in the $1,500-$2,000 range. This goes to the dealer as well. So don't let a dealer kid you into thinking they can't sell a car at invoice if they want to. I am a repeat customer so I let them keep the $1,000 I could have got for being a repeat customer (think "loyalty kicker"). So in essence they get about $2,900 for the sale of the car to me. Plus whatever they will make through BMWF for financing the car.

Good for you. I am from Sand Springs and I know how the dealers around there like to play games. I hate to play the negotiation game and prefer the no hazzle pricing like I get with military sales here in Germany.
