Question about Orion V2/V4

Hey guys, sort of a silly question, but for Orion V2 or V4s, I noticed on the Umnitza site, that there are different entries for E90, E92 and E93. Does it make a difference? I'm considering buying a set off someone, but they bought it for an E90 335? I have an E93 M3, will this work? Or should I not take the risk and just buy from Umnitza directly?

Thanks!

E90 and E92/3 use different size rings.

Thanks! I've also contacted Umnitza just to verify, I guess I'll have to order a new set from Umnitza if I want them.

this is correct.
but the OP stated the rings he was going to buy off of someone were E90 335.
if it was E92/3 335 he would have been fine but thats not the case

Ya, haven't heard back from Umnitza, but I think I'll just buy them direct just to be sure.

Haha! Those are V4's. On the V2's you can see dotted lines from the LEDs, you should definitely consider the V4's even though they cost a bit more. Try emailing them, they're usually pretty good at replying within a days time.

V4s look great guys, but other pics I've seen it's really easy to see the one LED gap where the wires converge for the inner rings. V2, since they are already spaced seem to make this gap less noticeable. Does this ever bug you guys?

Also, I'm afraid V4s may be too bright! How much dimmer do these go for nighttime?

Btw JYohay, nice E93!

thanks
the spacing your talking about is so minimal.
it also is at the tippy top so the glare of the lens bc it started to be rounded there make you not see it.
the V2 are pure white while V4 have a hint of blue.
i wouldnt ever even consider the V2s because they are old technology, but for me im always worried about resale.....these are my second set of headlights...having the Luce Produkt rings that 180designs uses (full rings).
the V4 have a interface box that actually has a lead to hookup t headlights so that they dim at night.......but i haven't ever heard of anyone even using it. the guy i bought mine from has made 100 sets and has never once connected it.
i actually have my angel eyes hooked up to an LED controller from oracle, so i can dim them (7 stages of dim) and also do strobing and breathing etc.
ive never once dimmed them thought as they arent "too bright"

here are a bunch of pics of my old setup and new setup.
