just used my toro yesterday. for $35 this thing is pretty awesome. i would say it eliminates 70% of water on the car and makes drying a 5 minutes job now so overall very worth when your car has proper protection. it's pretty good at getting water out of the cracks and that was always a problem for me so i'm satisfied. now to buy a pressure washer

Yeah you should buy a pressure washer, picked mine up a couple years ago and still love it!

My neighbor thinks that I'm nuts. when I do a full wash, I have my power wash, standard hose, 2 buckets (1 for wheels, 1 for car) a crap load of washing/detailing products, a small stool (for sitting) and a whole crap-load of other stuff.

My neighbor gives me a funny look like if I'm worshipping a cult leader.

My neighbors always used to give me funny looks before I even knew how to properly wash the car. My way of thinking was if they had as expensive of a car as I did they would appreciate it in their own way as well

Do you guys use these blowers to dry the entire car or just cracks and crevices. Been wanting to get something similar for the latter. Would like that master blaster, but can't justify the price.

For cracks and crevices is works great. For getting the car dry like I said right above it will get about 70% of the water off. Drying is still required but greatly reduced

+1 I paired my blower with my new swissvax drying towel

all i can say is amazing combination. Ive tried many other other towels mf, waffle weave etc and this one blows them all away

I agree. My neighbor has a 2001 Rav 4 that was black, now its a bit more like matte black.

Yeah, the best thing is being able to blast out the headlights, taillights, trunk opening, hood, and door jams, and the lug holes. Makes drying much less messy! (I have the same Toro and love it)

I am on car wash number 10 now between my full size truck, mini van and BMW and the system is still filtering 100% of the water. I am keeping count to see how many car washes I get out of the system before I need to replace the resin.

At this point I am 100% satisfied as I just wash and let air dry. The time saved to me is worth the price of the system.

Same here. I boought the CR-20? (it's the 300 gallon one) It was expensive but after using it, the time savings definitely made up for the price. On top of that, it does what it does really well, keep the car clear of waterspots.

[Edit: Forgot main post lol] But yeah I did use a leaf blower before, it did the job pretty well. It was amazing for the mirrors and the grills. Can't go wrong with a leaf blower. Like someone mention earlier, it works best if you have some wax on the car.

Use the Electric Blower yesterday when i was my car, it made drying the car so much easier. All i had to use was a small microfiber towel to pick up some area i missed, and it complete blew everything off my tires and rims i didn't even need to use a single towel on it.

Be careful when using a leaf blower when you're in a dusty area. You could be sucking in the unfiltered air and blowing it straight into your car. Good advice is to towel dry the car first, and then use the blower to get rid of water in the tight spots.

I never thought about that, thanks for the advise. I might try to place a filter or something under the blower
