Just to highlight what others have said, I have Akro exhaust on my KTM super Duke 990. It is absolutly beautiful, fit perfectly and sounds amazing. My bike sets off car alarms
I would put this on my car in a second. I asked my local bike shop (full akro dealer) if they knew anything about getting one, and they were pretty sure they'd be order them beginning in Jan. GIMEE! Just a little FYI |

I'm interested. I have a full Akra system on my R1200S. Supposedly BMW Motorrad shares engineering with Akrapovic for development purposes.
The R12S system cost a small forture... Fits great, runs great, sounds great, but was far from cheap. The Akra system on the HP2 Sport shown in this picture retails for $4-$5K!! (granted, world market is very small on HP2S upgrade exhausts)

They make THE BEST motorcycle exhausts, so I'm sure these will make some awesome power and sounds unreal.... Kinda wish I would have waiting. Though I'm sure price is through the roof! Always is with those guys...

False. Just to name a couple, Sato Racing and Ladybird make WAY better quality systems for bikes. But yes Akros are definitely up there in quality, but I wouldnt say they are the best. A full system for a R1 costs a arm and a leg, and Im pretty sure the M3 pricing is going to be nothing short of brutal.

Anyhoo, to keep from Jacking the thread to much.......I would expect the Akro M3 exhaust to be very expensive. The one on my bike is all Ti, but ran $3200 |

that is if you have same scaling for both torque and horsepower, with that said I am still clueless on how they produced those power figures...perhaps it is somehow displays power calculated at the crank
