I'd just opt for a painkiller (Vicodin/Tramadol/Tylenol Extra Strength) and some Mucinex. NyQuil makes me feel . . . different.

During the winter time I probably go through at least 2 bottles of nyquil. During the day I use Alka Seltzer cold and sinus (Day). It is like taking a shot of adrenaline. But when it wears off you better have another one ready or a nice comfortable place to fall asleep.

I like the OG green... though I liked the older formula cir. 1998.

The best part about Nyquil (for me) is that the 7 minutes between hitting the snooze button each time feels like you've been sleeping for an hour.
