New York or California?

nyc

financial, media, fashion, entertainment (all those broadway plays), sports, cultural capital of the world.

it's also a magnet city. it draws from all people around USA & the world that wants to 'be someone'...

all the landlords rub their grubby hands together ready to make $ off your chasing of your dreams while you're fresh new young and single, looking for convenience.

why is NYC rude? well, NYC is comprised of a lot of people not 'from' NYC but from other states, or other countries... so who is truly NY?

There's pressure in NYC to perform, because living is costly you come here with expectations, not to chill, unless you come here with $, but more come here w/o, and are set in their position based on who you know, what your skills are. THere's a pecking order in NYC for years.

The winters, these days, aren't even that snowy... thankyou global warming. There are windy days, but at least when it's cold you
can wear clothing to deal with it. In the summer, being naked can't even cool you down with the hot subway tunnels, the hot city streets thanks to concrete, and the humidity.

The winters aren't as bad as the summers being a concrete city with congestion. i think a winter in a small town with trees would be worse. only thing i don't like is that it's 4:30pm and it's dark, no sunshine so it 'feels' colder.
