Chicago Tint

Hello everyone.
I just got a new job here in Chicago and shipped my car from AZ.
The police do not care about tint in AZ because it is so darn hot so I actually have 2% all around, however, I assume its going to be a nightmare up here. Does anybody have a reputable tinting shop around the north suburbs?
Also let me know if there are any meets coming up and maybe ill stop by!

Thanks alot.

Hi,
I had mine done at Frankie's tinting.
https://m.facebook.com/FRANKIESISCO

He's a good guy, uses Lumar tint.. And charges 110$ for all 5 windows.
Give him a ring.

Nino at Umbra has done work on all my cars for years now. He has a solid reputation on pretty much all the Chicago local forums and 5 stars on yelp. He is not the cheapest by a longshot, but there is a reason why he is always booked up for weeks, if not months. He stands behind his work with a lifetime warranty on any bubbling or cracking.

Nino also installs Llamar film and lets you can pick which line you want. I've always gone with F1 Pinnacle, but he has cheaper options as well.

Second this. Forums speak Highly of Umbra in Schaumburg. They just did my buddy's E92 and it was a great job.

Yep, another +1 for Nino. Had him do my car, and a few of my friends'.

My suggestion is that you remain flexible on day/time and be willing to have it done on a weekday...otherwise, the wait will be considerable. When I got my M3 a few years ago, he was able to get me in with just a one week wait because I came in early on a weekday morning. If I had remained firm on weekends-only, it would've been over a month.

Umbra is great, but I use Major Tint Unlimited. Markus has done all my cars.
