Headrest M logo
Has anyone thought about making these a different color? Either with leather paint or some sort of sticker? Just looking to get them to stand out a little more.

I thought about it, but I'm afraid of messing them up. So I think that I'll leave them alone.

I'd love for them to be stitched in the M colors

I put this question up in a thread about a month ago and the majority said to leave it alone. I, like you, would love to have the logo stitched to match the motorsport badge. |

I got a shop... If you want we can swing by the shop this week and find out how much. He does excellent work he did the entire interior on my 325 over in red and black. He did a great job and the price was good.

Theres 2.. both are in Tuckahoe. I have a connect at AI Design and he should be able to do it for a reasonable price considering they rape for just about anything they do. The other is Automotive Upholstery on the same street. The two shops used to work together at one point and both do excellent work. We can compare both prices in the same hour. Let me know if you are down, I can make some phone calls and we can get the best possible price. Maybe if we wait until the spring and get a group buy thing going we can get an even better deal.

I believe that was a vinyl sticker.

Im actually going to a customization shop here in LA to see if they could either stitch in the logo or paint them in professionally. This was an idea I had as soon as I bought my ///M3. I think it would stand out more IMO

I dunno, sometimes there is modding for the sake of modding. Subtlety is nice too sometimes

I'm curious how this will look. I wonder how much new headrest covers would be in case I don't like the look.
Whoever does this, please post pics.

I checked into this awhile back. You cant order just the leather cover. It was around $100+ for the whole headrest. I didnt see a way to get the cover off without taking out the stiching. I think you'd need to get an upholstery shop involved.
