Pink hue in Melborne Red?
Hey, do anyone know if there is a pink shade in the Melbourne red? In many of the pictures, it looks a little pink, doesn't it? or is it just my computer screen? Anyone who saw it in person see any of that color in it? What other colors are visible in the melbourne red?

there is not a hint of pink in the actual color. what you're seeing is optical transformations from the surrounding environment.

See the difference in the 2 pictures? Which one has the real look? Anyone who has seen it in person?

So, does that mean that it will look pink in certain lightings or environments?

Poor color saturation, color temperature (kelvins), or contrast filters they used with the camera that took those pics.

A good clue is to look for something in the picture that should be white - if it isn't then either somebody messed with it or the camera didn't have proper white balance. The one with the whitest plate is the more believable one

I did not look at it that closely but would have noticed pink if it was visible; so no pink is my view. |

Maroon, red, reddish orange. Those are the shades it goes through. IT's a more stunning colour than pictures could ever show.

Then may be it was just my eyes or my computer screen. So, how does this color look outside? On the scale of 10?
