Messed with a Fit..... and Lost
So there she was in a Honda Fit w/ Manual Trans pulling past me after the light so I was like "What you want some of this?". I drop down to 2nd gear around 40mph and get ready. I pull beside the Fit and rev my engine a couple times then bam dropped the hammer. Sure enough I easily jumped like 3 cars ahead before letting off. I Win or so I thought.
So I get home then my finance comes up to me and says "What the hell was that? Totally uncalled for you can sleep on the couch tonight". So in the end I lost. Not taking on something more powerful than I. EDIT: The Fit driver is my Fiance. Last edited by D88; 03-18-2014 at 12:34 PM.. Reason: Adding one piece of crucial information. |

The sofa seems like a harsh punishment considering the crime.
I don't like to act as the BMW stereotype, and The War Dept likes it even less... So I keep that kind of stunt to a minimum |

I found that I stopped doing stuff like this after I started going to the track. I guess that just became my outlet instead.

Wife should have made you sleep in the car for "racing" a Fit.
Really, a Fit? You were threated by a Fit?? You took a chance of losing your license to race a Fit?? You must be so proud.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Wow guys so harsh... I was only messing with my fiance and not some random stranger so for the few of you who didn't get it sorry for you... I haven't even raced the M3 on track or on road. I never even got to 50 mph for that stunt.
It was just a fun little story for me to share about my fiance but if you guys ahole is too tight then I should've kept it to myself. |

Well you were WRONG! We're all a bunch of uptight pricks on this board (who also occasionally lack reading comprehension skills) ...also, I would've turned on the hazards at the end for good measure

I just thought it funny that anyone would even bother putting down a Fit. I guess it's a...mine is bigger than yours kind of thing.
OBTW, I've been given the that was totally uncalled for speech before but, never the dreaded sleep on the couch punishment. |

She was k0o after a bit so it lasted a little bit. Thanks for the warning but looks like people already went overboard. Probably shouldn't have worked the story in a way that I was all Fast and Furious but rest assured everyone I won't be driving underneath semis. |

OP SAYS TO HONDA FIT OWNER: You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?
