Where do you mount your Passport Max?

I have an Escort Passport Max with the, I'll go with unwieldy large suction cup, and I can't decide where I want to mount it. I have iDrive which is the cause of the issue.

If I mount it central and low as I do on other cars, the combination of the large mount and the iDrive bump mean it's not mounted terribly low. I've been putting it just to the right of the iDrive bump, but it seems a tad odd. I'll be hardwiring next week, so I need to decide on a permanent location.

I miss the simple old two suction cup mounts as they were slimmer...
