My New Car - Deal Details, Stealership PICS - Jerez E92!
Hey Y'all. I signed paperwork for my car today. Some of you might think this is crazy but I left the car at the dealership! She's going to stay there for 14 more days until Saturday March 5th, then I will drive her away. The streets here are so nasty right now. But they probably won't be any better in two weeks...
tires are pirelli pzero Anyway I'll share with you my deal: My order was $500 over invoice, so I was happy with that. There is a pic of the window sticker. On top of the car I bought: Pain Protection: 799 Ding Shield: 499 Tire/Wheel Insurance: 1399 (kinda pricey?) they said no limit and will even fix curb rash as much as I want. BMW extended maintenance: $3295 maintenance 6 years 100k miles I'm gonna use them brakes up good! Key insurance: $259 ... $700 worth of keys per year for 5 years...seems like a good deal I was hesitant on paint protection, and ding shield, but I did it anyway. Total price plus the extras: $78,762 Total interest for 36 mos at .9% $635 ($30k down plus 1500 holiday credit plus $1k deposit) On to pics from the Stealership! Home pics will take like 6 or 8 weeks until the weather is nice. You wouldn't believe the mound of snow in the driveway here in CT. It takes up half the driveway, or more. some pics taken with dslr, some with iphone... iphone4 still takes damn good pics for a phone

Congrats what a beauty!! I understand on the snow front. For winter next year I am going to buy a set of snow tyres on 18" rims, then if I damage the rim it doesn't matter.
The dealer will look after my 19"s and tyres/tires until I am ready. Aparently BMW say to change when the average temp reaches 7C or about 45F I think.

I'll take some of that
I give you credit for leaving the car there on the showroom for two weeks. Would probably want it home in my garage instead of the dealer showroom, but I understand about the roads right now. I would give it a thorough once over when you do take it - belt buckle marks on the doors from gawkers could happen when the car is not roped off in a public area. These cars a magnet for snot nosed kids, as well as all the others who do not frequent here

Cool ride. I totally understand why you left it safe at the dealership. I'm stuck in snow and can't get it out of my garage. That may be more frustrating. I've had mine for 5 weeks and got about 260miles on it. More snow this weekend and next week so no driving for a while. Your day will come and it will be grand. We're not the only ones with that problem! Damn you guys in SoCal and other warm places!
