Tried out Swissvax Blau Weiss this weekend
I always wanted to try a high end carnauba since I've always used synthetics. People always says that you can't get the depth and wetness from a synthetic that you do from a carnuaba. Now I understand. The car looks amazing and it seems to get better as you let the wax cure.
It took me about 5.5 hours do complete the detail. I used: Prima Mystique wash Menzerna IP with a PC and a green LC CCS pad Swissvax Cleaner Fluid with a PC and a white LC CCS pad Swissvax Blau Weiss by hand with a red foam pad I only did one coat of Blau Weiss this time to evaluate the durability. If I'm not happy with the durability, I'll try 2 coats next time.

Car looks great!! Don't get the carnauba bug though, I got about 6 waxes that cost over $100 each and that's after selling some. Beautiful work man

I am now going back and forth between the Swissvax and Menzerna Powerlock. The powerlock is super slick and shine wise it looks really good. You just don't get added depth you get from carnauba. If you don't need showroom kind of shine, use powerlock for 30% of the price and it lasts 150% longer.

If you like the look if a carnauba but prefer the extra month or so durability from powerlock, I'd recommend picking up some Coli 915. Looks incredible and will easily out last Powerlock

I suppose durability isnt that much of a factor for me. As long as the carnauba can last a month then im happy.
Typically during summer i am applying wax once a month anyways.

i love blau weiss... it's what i normally use on my car.
I've gotten 2-2.5 months of durability from each application, using SV Car bath weekly I don't see a point in adding multiple coats, i just clay mine, apply cleaner fluid, and apply SV Blau Weiss or Concorso every 3 months Last edited by ScheerSpeed; 04-08-2011 at 10:02 PM.. |

Using a Swissvax Blue Cloth it's easier than anything you have ever used. http://www.swissvax.us/merchant.mvc?...de=ACCESSORIES You shouldn't use any other cloth to buff off a Swissvax wax, the fibers of normal microfibers will damage the wax layer. |
