...Call me crazy

...but it's really hard to justify spending 34k on a nicely equipped 135i or more on a 335i when you can have one of these for the same price. Leaf springs included...

I realize they're not near as sophisticated, and the interior is pretty cheap compared to most bimmers (although the 135i's is nothing to call home about) but this gets you thinking.

The Vette is an awesome car but it's sports car. the 135 or 335 are sport sedans and a lot more practical for everyday living. Certainly for us living in the snowy north. Probably cheaper to insure as well.

I agree with the poster. Personally I would never pick up a 1 series as I feel they're overpriced for what they are. Corvette's are great, especially the C6's and can be used as DD's. You probably give up a slight amount of trunk space but... 500hp and 530lbs tq? Yes pls!

How much worse can a vette be than a 135i for DD? Granted, you lose the rear seats, but in the sunny southwest I can't imagine there'd be a TON of difference. Also, I understand you can pick up some value priced 5 series, but I'm looking for something a little more fun to drive.

damn... makes me wanna buy a vette... unfortunately vette's arent that common here in canada so they tend to not have deals like what you'd get in the states.

Show me an '06 m5 in good shape with less than 30k on it for less than 35k, cause I agree, that'd be a hell of a buy. But at the end of the day, it still doesn't run 10's OR have pushrods!

there's a ton of difference, and the 135i is basically the exact same as every other modern bmw on the interior, sit in one then sit in a 335i it's the same

You're crazy. I would take a 335/135 over a corvette anyday especially because they are so tuner friendly

You don't think that vettes are tuner friendly? A chevy small block is just about the easiest engine in the world to tune.

Agreed...not sure why people think the E92 interior is so much nicer, it seems very similar to me. I've had nothing but compliments on how nice my 135 is.

My 135i is much more comfortable as a daily driver than a corvette. Not to mention I have that whole warranty thing and am still under the free maintenance.

If you want a sports car and can get by with only 2 seats, why would you even consider a 4 seat anything? Do you really know what you want?

Initially I was only going to have 1 car, but the wife and I decided to pick up a second Land Rover, as a result, I can probably sacrafice 2 seats.
