WTB Smashed BMW e92 m3 manual

I'm after a e90, e92 or e93 M3 manual

Preferably low km's

Can be written off but must be complete electronically and mechanically.

Eventually, have to find one first and when the right one comes along.

atm I'm getting the my bottom end fitted with forged rods and pistons to make this combo
bullet proof and then find the right flywheel/clutch combo so it does sound like a mac
truck in the low rpm range.

But a nice v8 manual in the 1m would be the ultimate BMW, with a supercharger at a later stage.

Keep an eye out on salvage pickles auctions.

They come up quite often.

Definitely looking forward to that build of yours!!

I've thought about an S65 V8 transplant too if my turbos were to eventually go. Quite some time ago, I also had my eye on an E60 M5 front cut with the S85 V10, gearbox and wiring for $12K! It was a steal but I couldn't justify spending that much when my car was running perfectly fine. I'm kicking myself for it now, even though my car still runs without any issues. The V10 is almost 50kg heavier, making an already front-weighted car worse... but I could live with it.

$30K and 150K kms or $40-50K and still 100-150K kms. You have to spend mid-$50K to get something with around 60K kms. The front cut for $12K only had around 70K kms but that was a couple years ago.
If you were patient and the seller was desperate, you might be able to bargain a high km car down to low-$20Ks and rebuild the engine and gearbox but that would be a costly proposition, even if you could sell off some of the parts.
My idea was to use the front cut as a low entry cost and just "drop it in".

Exactly, I'm in no rush to buy and will wait for the right one to come along

I missed one not long ago of gumtree and that was right on the money.

Just waiting for the right auction stat write off to come along.
