Question on Staggered wheels

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and just bought a bmw 3 series convertible 328i.
Its running on 17'' wheels, i want to upgrate the wheels to 18".
I was wondering how do staggered wheels wear out?
since front and back are different size, cannot be rotated.
this is my first rear wheel drive, so can someone please let me know if all 4 tires wear out same way or rear/front wear out faster?

Thanks,
GD

wrong forum but it depends on your alignment and driving style my rears and fronts wear even across the thread but the rears eat away so much faster than the fronts

Yes, wheel and tire sub-forum but on the e9x M3 forum...

As 1sikbmr stated on most BMWs the rear tires will wear out first because those are the drive wheels. Also, your car has an open diff so one rear tire will most likely wear a bit faster than the other.
