I vote for the 24th pending the new price. That'll make the wife happy as now I can be there for her new Labor Day plans.

I'm in for the 24th. Labor day weekend is our wedding anniversary and as much as I'd like to start a new track day tradition, I don't think the wife will go for it.

Not laborday weekend is my pick. The format that we have been using has worked well so far and there are some disadvantages to letting this get too big. I'd almost rather have them every 3 weeks in smaller groups than one massive td per month.

Also why would the price be different if we use the old format?

I just confirmed that pricing won't change for this event. But, future monthly events will have a slight increase due to the seasonal change. Easiest way to explain it.....100 degrees no one wants to track their car.......70 degrees everyone wants action. It's simple.....supply and demand economics

How about going to the track on both dates? i.e., regular track meet on 9/3 (share w/other MSR members) and then rent the track for 1/2 day on 9/24 or 10/1?
