I'll update myself. I just called and spoke to the 1-800 Rep. She told me that it appears my car is going to be a week 38 build now. And she pushed it back on my CA. I've already traded emails with him and will let everyone know. Wow is all I've got to say.

No. All she said was "it appears that your a week 38 build but speak to your CA." As helpful as she could be I guess. I'll have to wait till my CA is in tomorrow.

Spoke to my CA this morning...he said I am still showing as week 37 build, and that Combox is still showing in the system, so he thinks everything is good. Not sure how much faith I put in that, but we'll see.

That is the same response I'm getting! I wish there was some other way to confirm. My CA has been very understanding and will happily order another car if this one does not have the combox. Unfortunately that means another 8 week wait would begin...

When did you guys place your order? I placed mine back at the end of July and still have not reached a confirmed production week status (although the CA says the 'expected' production week is 40!).

I placed my order July 24th. The week will depend on your dealer and what is allocations are. All his production slots may be full until the 40th week. My dealer had a slot that was a 335 ordered for dealer inventory and they we able to change that order to my M3...

Ah.. yeah we ordered the same day . I special ordered my exterior paint though which I was told is holding it up a little. Hopefully they can bump up production... the wait is killer.

The very SPECIAL titanium silver As much as I tried to like Silverstone, the baby blue killed it. SG too dark for my taste and AW/MW too common.

Just got an update from the BMWNA automated telephone system that my car has now gone into production with an estimated completion date of Sept. 13 (which coincides with week 37). I'm sure crossing my fingers that it shows up with the combox.

Your dealer will always have the most up-to-date information on your production/delivery status.

I understand that. But should he know if he has a slot open for a build in which week.

If you are build week 35, then your car should basically be finished with production. Have you called the BMWNA customer relations #? The automated system will give you info on your order status. Although technically your CA should have the most current info.

I talked to my CA today and he said that I'm scheduled for week 37 and that I should be getting a VIN# from him next week...let's see what happens. I'm worried that even though my order was put in with the combox that I won't get the new connectdrive etc...

I hear you. I'm in the same boat as you (car is scheduled to be completed Sept. 13 and its a week 37 build). All signs point to getting the combox for my order, but until it arrives, who knows.

BMWNA says scheduled for production but no confirmed production date. Dealer says his system has week 35 but no date for build or completion date ,WTF does anyone know I sure as hell don't. I wonder if everyone is a little behind with there build week. My order also says to be built with combox.

Ok since you are a week 38 and that ends on Oct 4th then week 37 should be Sept 27th-Oct 1st....correct? I'm a a week 37 build- looks like I won't be getting my beast until mid-October at the earliest!
