I-5 bridge collapses in NW Wash.; people in water

Hope everyone is ok...There were several in the water and vehicles.

Bad deal. Looks like no fatalities which is a real blessing w/ the start of a holiday wknd. The local news said only 3 cars ended up in the water. Could've been a lot worse.

I drive that stretch of I-5 A LOT (was just on it Wednesday). That's gonna be a huge impact to the local economy. Quite a bit of travel there b/w SEA and VAN.

Doubt we will see a new bridge anytime before 2014.

In India when this happens sometimes the army corp of engineers come in and deploy those rapid bridges like they do in wars. I guess they don't do that here.
