We offer the Sport and Race performance systems from Eisenmann Germany. The systems are over 2k but have been very popular for the E90/92/93 M3's.

About Eisenmann Germany- http://www.bmwblog.com/2008/12/19/in...mann-facility/

SPORT-Version:

moving vehicle = 75 db
stationary vehicle = 92 db at 6.225 1/min
value of backpressure = -25%
weight of the muffler = apr. 21 kg

RACE-Version:

moving vehicle = apr. 95 db
stationary vehicle = apr. 102 db at 6.225 1/min
value of backpressure = apr. -32%
weight of the muffler = apr. 21 kg

Please note these values are always depending on external circumstances as feg. barometric pressure, outside temperature, abrasion of the pre silencers, abrasion of the cat-converter, etc....

Video of the Eisenmann Race Performance.

+1 on the Sport, if you want a better, more authoritative tone without being too loud for daily use. It is a little spendy, and have up until recently required you to cut the strock rear pipes off your OEM muffler, but I think that is changing. I think the unit is perfect for my needs, though.

Hey Greg,

Can you elaborate? Have they changed the design so that it becomes a direct bolt-on?

I went with RDsport exhaust plus x-pipe. it's a more throating growling sound which i like better than the high pitch whining sound of the eisennman. I have the eisennman race on my 07 M5.

I have a question about db. Is there a maximum you can have on your car, and still be it street legal? I mean, is 95 db street legal?

In the US I believe any noise regulations are state imposed, not federal.

Eisenmann Sport is a great choice, we've got one in stock for an E90 if you have a sedan. Also check out the Active Autowerke Signature Series Exhaust.

There are a lot of nice options out there for your M3:

Good Value great price is Remus Race I would say that hasn't been mentioned on here(also a sport available):

[IMG]http://www.**********s.com/zoom_img/_1220027716.jpg[/IMG]
[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6BC4xtrOTSA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6BC4xtrOTSA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

RD makes a nice exhaust let me know if you need a price quote on it. Just recently got those.

There are supersprint sport muffler which will run $1985
and or the supersprint quad muffler is $2498
[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3qaH9Y0OJ5U&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3qaH9Y0OJ5U&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

Eisenman Race (run you about $2700 for the mufflers):
[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/osk8gbhxNhk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/osk8gbhxNhk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

ActiveAutowerke Exhaust will run you about $2650 for the exhaust :
[u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iLrkRLAfS58&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iLrkRLAfS58&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b]

All of them are some great options, we'll be happy to help you out. Let us know we carry quite a bit of exhausts brands as you can see!

What's everyone think about the UUC Corsa exhaust? I'm between the Remus Race or the Corsa. Any suggestions?

Interesting. The youtube video's of the Remus Race/sport sound good but never do it justice as if in person. I do want something sporty and benefit from a little bit more power but I don't want it to be stupid loud. then again, I'm not interested in something that is only a few db's louder than stock. It's hardly worth it then. Thanks for the input.
