M3 vs C63 observations
I just had a close look at a C63 this evening and I must say it is quite a nice looking car, at least from the front. The rear is just ok to my eyes. I really like the look of the wheels as well. I didn't get a chance to drive the car, but I did get to start it up and play with the gizmos. Some observations:
C63 strengths: The exhaust note is to DIE for! The front seats have super support The interiors are quite nice C63 weaknesses: Rear leg-room is quite crappy, especially considering it has four doors I've read that the ride quality on the C63 is also extremely harsh and that it is even thirstier than the E92 M3, which is really not surprising considering it's packing a 6.2 L engine! Anybody driven one and have anything to share with the rest of us? |

I test drove the C63 and took it for about a 30 minute spin. Here's the skinny, the seats are really firm, this is related to the primary complaint about the ride being harsh. Lack of any EDC doesn't help either. It was so bad that my even wife didn't like it at all.

I've driven one. It is scary how effortless it is to get this car going fast. The seats are indeed quite snug, but I liked them a lot. On a cold start, the sound of the exhaust is pure bliss.

You would think MB could put EDC style shocks on the C63......which allows for much lighter springs and a far better ride just like the M3..... "If" the C63 looked better I would have considered it...but I just don't like the way it looks...the old C class was better

The rear is so ugly, the front is very aggressive but it looks like the designers half assed it (no pun intended lol).

So where is the "M3" part?
I second the wrong forum bit too.

I don't care much for the C63.

Has anyone else driven a C63 AND an E92 M3 and have a user's perspective? I find that often the car mags / shows have a bias of sorts and it never hurts to hear from an end-user (who may also have a bias, but you get what I'm saying)! |

I thought the interiors are really cheap looking? That's what the reviews said.

I went and saw the C63 before I bought my my M3 last week. I wasn't phased one bit!
I also wasn't impressed on the sales people that work there. Some where a**holes to me. |

There are endless stories about jacka$$ dealers for all brands, mostly German luxury car. BMW dealer, surprsingly, treated me better than any though.
