DFW AC

I signed up a couple of months ago. It's a very good way to know what is going on in the area car wise (beyond just BMW). In addition, there are more people with varied experience with different area shops and suppliers. I've made a few posts without being flamed and gone to two events (a drive and a Saturday meet). People were friendly and welcoming at both. I had a good time. A few are competitive about their cars and jab at each other a bit. All of that is avoidable. After all, what am I going to say about my stock M3 vs. a 1000 hp twin turbo Viper or a heavily modded Ford GT. Overall, it's a real diverse and interesting group. Some of them are even older than me. There is quite a bit of cross membership between this forum and DFW AC.

Dude, is it gay if I walked outside this morning and when making eye contact with the freshly waxed M's headlights said to myself, "Fuck, that is a beautiful car"?

No, it's not gay.

Staring at an automobile's headlights is just like staring at a sexy female's headlights, if ya know what I'm sayin' bro! HA!

And lifting the hood is just like *** **** ***** ***.

Oh. my. GOD! I had a hot ass waitress last night that was wearing a low cut lavender v neck t with a thin bra underneath who seemed to make it a point to keep bending over to expose her 36C cleav. It worked, I left a more than generous tip. Gets me every time

I got the Vreds installed. With your suggestion and lots of research, I bought and mounted them yesterday. Here are a few pics of the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas installed.

I ordered some too for my new RAC wheels that are a few months away. Where did you have them mounted and balanced? How did it go? I've heard that the Vred's can take up to 800 miles to break in.

How long did they estimate shipping would take? I want to have my wheels painted and ready to mount when the tires get here so I don't have to have them both sitting around taking up space

My wheels are months away. The tires are in stock in SoCal. I'm guessing 2 weeks tops. I went ahead and ordered because the previous (quite a bit larger) RAC group buy demand put the 255/35/19 fronts into an out of stock situation for a month or so at the end of last year. I'll post when they arrive.

Fusion,
You can order them online but I ended up buying them and having them mounted by Import Car Center in grapevine, tx. They are a Vredestine vendor. I think i paid roughly $30-40 more by going through them instead of ordering online and paying shipping.
However, I would not recommend them for mounting and balancing. My car is running great and is perfectly balanced but I don't think they did a good job on handling the rims with care. I am very anal but I found very hairline scratches around each wheel that appear to be from the balancer they used. Also one of the rims was nicked by what looks like a tool mark when wedging it in between the tire and the rim...
I heard IIX XII Enterprises does a great job. You might be better off buying the tires through Import Car Center and bringing them to IIX XII.
