I think the frozen colors and contrast stitching are interesting, but seriously, is this the 5th "special" edition for e92 the M3 in the US? I wish they would have put some of their efforts into making the e90 M3 a little longer!

I like the frozen blue and blue stitching. But still, not a fan of frozen colors.

i have to say that the deviated color stitching is very well done. i agree with you guys that the car is pointless and the pricing ridiculous, but we all saw this coming when all the other frozen edition sold well.

it actually kind of speaks to the kind of customer BMW has now, tbh.

Any bets on what special edition is next? Mine is on a Romney and Obama Edition. Romney's can be matte gold, and Obama's can be matte red with yellow accents.

I like them. You guys need to just look at the car for what it is. its a nice m3 from the factory with some different paint and interiors. you look to much into the "special edition" part.
Like I said in another thread most of you that are hating would love the car if someone specked an individual the same way. (and paid more or less or the same).
its a badass car and the color is nice and the stitching is very nice.

Frozen Blue is Matte Monte Carlo Blue. Frozen Red is Matte Japan Red. What is Frozen White... Matte Alpine or Mineral White?

Yup, someone here just took delivery of his frozen brilliant white e92. Everyone went nuts with praise.

I would agree that the number of "editions" they have put out is a bit lame and they have made them less exclusive, but lets be real here....BMW is in the business to sell cars and make money! They're capitalizing on a fad that is pretty popular right now with the frozen paints.

mostly agree. i think it's the 76k price tag that sets most people off, plus the implication that this is special in some way (although to be fair, what company in the business of selling stuff doesn't try to do the same thing?)

LOL. Nicely said. But I think some are just frustrated that BMW puts this kind of effort to put out "special edition" after "special edition" which is nothing really other than a glorified BMW Individual car, but won't do a CSL-type M3.

Guys, if you build a regular coupe with all the standard options in the edition, it comes to $70,800 or so. That leaves $5.6k for the frozen paint and cool stitching.

How exactly is this overpriced? why dont you ask your dealer how much it would cost you to get a frozen individual color, just for fun?

Fast forward 10 years, with the limited production numbers this will be a *hot* item on the used market. It will fetch $$$ where your nice mineral white will be $20k if we're lucky. Thats what is special about this edition, and the fact that you will probably never see another one on the road very soon.

I always wonder why people would buy such a late model, until a find myself on autotrader looking at 2003 M5's. The last year will likely be the best so I could imagine people looking these up several years from now trying to get their hands on the 2013 models...until they see the paint and wonder what the F we were thinking by supporting this silly fad.
