NEWLY UPDATED! Getting IND carbon fiber roof!new finished pics!
I\'m pulling the trigger on Monday and ordering the carbon fiber roof (1x1 weave). I\'ve finally rounded up all the necessary parties and costs and I\'m ready to go. Very excited. Roof takes a couple weeks to get and then off to my buddies body shop.

Why the E90 didnt come with the CF is beyond me. I would love to have it as I didnt get the sunroof option (havent used it in all of my previous cars, ever). So I am also contemplating the CF from IND when I return to the states. Hopefully they still make it in a few years...
Good luck and I cannot wait to see completed pics...

it's mostly for cosmetic and technology development purposes and adds over $1000 to the price of the car...

Definitely will post pics. All together should be about a 3 weeks till finished. Takes 2 just to get the roof. I might see if body shop can start the tear down process while waiting for the roof to arrive. Would cut down on the overall time. Hmmmm, how to increase efficiency? Lol.

I take it you had a sunroof before? Make sure you get it leak tested before you take delivery.
Once it is done it should look like my former M3 (see pic).

Dropping off car tomorrow. Roof is ordered and being made. New front windshield is ready and rear glass removal is scheduled. Shop will start tearing down while roof is being made. (trying to be efficient)! Lol
I'll have installer take pics of process. Should be awesome! Sooooooo excited

Cant wait to see the result. I want a carbon fiber roof as well for my e90!! I'm scared for the car to go under the knife.
