Angel lights burning out?

I installed my GP thunder 8500k 2 days ago and one day I get in the car and a warning sign comes up in the dash and tells me to check my daylight running lights. Turns out both of my H3 and H8 burned out on the left side. The right side was perfectly fine and is still working fine.

I know that I got a little bit of sweat when I was installing the lights on the left side since the latex glove broke but would that be enough to burn out the lights?

did you get sweat on the actual bulb? Xenon bulbs can't be exposed to any oils (finger, sweat etc) or they'll burn/break

definitely possible that the sweat could cause a burn out. not likely, but possible. you could also have defective bulbs, but probably not both H8 and H3.

+1 on the sweat / oil. Looks like you'll have to buy new ones

Always wear latex gloves, that way you don't have to worry about touching them.

I did wear latex gloves but they broke when I was installing the lights.

Ok so weird thing happened today. I was driving down the highway and all the sudden the warning sign on my dash disappears and I pull up behind this truck and in the reflection I see that all 4 of my angel lights are on. When I get home I double check to see it and they are now both working fine.

Could it be a connection problem or something like that?

Yeah, better check the connections. While you are at it, I would yank the bulbs and clean them with alcohol to remove any oil/residue. THAT is not causing your problem, but I would clean them to avaoid a premature failure. Check those connectors, etc. That must be the issue as if they were burnt out, they wouldn't come back to life!
