M3 ED ?

Why isn't there an ED discount on M3's? That kinda sucks. I read someone's review on ED and he mentioned that you don't have to pay sales tax. Is this correct?

Because the M cars are limited production.

And that's not true, you pay sales tax for ED.

Don't buy that for a second. I think the 135i sells in similar numbers as the E46 M3 did (around 10k/year) and it's available for Euro Delivery. 6 series sells in similar numbers as well and it's available for ED. 7 series too. etc.

I think it's simply because BMW can get away with it.

(I'm planning a 2009 Euro Delivery myself, and still not sure if I'll end up with an M3 sedan or a 135i Coupe).

BMW NA may not offer an ED discount on M3s, but there are some forum sponsor CAs that will give you a discount for an M3 ED purchase. Just shop the forum sponsor CAs

I see that 135 has been added to the CCA rebate program....has it been added to the ED discount? It wasn't available with an ED discount initially.

I expect the M3 to be added to the ED program (yes I know you can get them now but without the discount) soon. Just my gut feeling.

That's my plan, of course.

Yes.

Although it would be nice for me and the clincher in the 135i vs. M3 decision, I seriously doubt it.

Strongly recommend you contact Adrian Avila at adriansbmw@gmail.com. Buy it for ED pickup from Adrian, then take re-delivery at PCD
