Why does my friends Limerock E92 have different tire size?
Hey!
So I was washing my E92 M3 with my friends Limerock E92 M3 yesterday evening and I noticed that his rear tires are 275's and mine are 265's.. We both have comp package (his, naturally), do Limerocks come with different tire sizes? I think this is a bit odd, unless I got screwed from my dealer lol |

All M3's came with 245 front and 265 rear tires with the exception of the M3 GTS which came with 255 front and 285 rear tires. Up-sizing to 255 front and 275 rear tires is a common modification for cars with ZCP wheels.

I see, his car is bone stock.. must have been a dealer thing. I was just making sure I didn't get screwed on mine. When I swap out tires next time, will I notice grip with the 275's??

Does upsizing from 265 to 275 have any measureable gain/loss? It wouldn't seem like a huge thing either way, aside from bragging rights and increased cost of tires. |

The big difference would be in the which tire you pick, not so much the 10mm difference.

Wider generally means: less steering feedback, reduced wet/snow traction, better heat handling, possibly better maximum cornering ability
