Ben (http://www.m3post.com/forums/member.php?u=36728). Never heard of him giving a special deal, just good service and IIRC it benefits this board.

yeah tire rack isnt' always the best price. It's wise to do comparison shopping. Ben gives good advice in terms of product and techincal information.

In my old car's forum, we also had a Tire Rack rep. While he didn't cut us deals, he did notify us when certain models of tires were going on sale or clearance. And THAT was invaluable information. I was able to pick up tires on 50% discounts. And I'm talking about notifications for OEM sizes and common aftermarket wheel sizes. So 100% relevant information.

Unfortunatedly Ben doesn't notify us of deals as often (I don't recall at all actually, but I don't check the tires subthread often) as my old forum contact So you have to do all the leg work on the Tire Rack side of when stuff goes on sale.

The website looks kind of sketch, but I'm always up for saving $$ on tires. Considering how quick these things eat rear tires. Let us know when you get them.

They have all the right functions for choosing by brand size etc. A customer service number with live people to answer calls.

I have purchased 4 sets of tires from them to date. Always delivered fast at the cheapeast prices around.
Just checked discounted wheel and tire vs. tire rack for a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports 245/35/19 and 265/35/19. Tire Rack won by $54.

I can't find pilot super sport. I agree, site is oriented towards "rims". I can't find the stock size tires by just a car search, just gives me bunch of wheels.

What's your deal? You own the website I'm guessing?

Also keep in mind DWW has just uped their prices. I got my tires even cheaper than above. Maybe I should have never posted this, perhaps they got wind that they are cheaper and decided to increase their prices

Maybe reread your posts in this thread from a 3rd party perspective and then you will see where I am coming from. Either way, I would rather spend more money somewhere else knowing I am guaranteed to have a 5* experience..not just talking about tires, anything in life.
