If so, we're crazy as well.

Tucks a 275 wide tire with no problem, with enough room for 285s if the desire is there.

275/30-19 is a better fitment, within 1% the diameter of the OEM 245/35-19 size.

Wheels are 19x9.5, ET22 with a 275/30-19 up front. Vehicle is lowered on KWV3 Coilovers with no rubbing or rolling turning lock to lock.

It will clear... I tested it. I will be doing a square 275/30 set up as well.

I run 275/30/19's on my 19" x 9.5" 360 Forged wheels. I am also lowered on H&R Springs, and it is wonderful.

You'll think you were crazy when you hit that big puddle with less than full tread!

I'm probably in the minority, but I've never really understood why people want to go as wide as possible on their wheel/tire setups.

By the same token I think widebody kits look absolutely heinous.

Wow, how did you manage that? I recall a thread/discussion a few days back about how 255’s will rub unless you are using NITTO’s or YOKOHAMA’s

Its called a square setup bud, neutral balance. 275 all around, more rubber on the ground. A track thing, I guess you don't understand.

That's simply not true. Simply running the same tires on front and back, does not ensure "neutral balance." It could actually significantly hurt track times. Plenty of dedicated track cars run staggered set-ups, including the pros. Having "steamrollers" on the front, can adversely affect steering performance.

I don't know about this particular set-up (275/30 x 4) on this car, but running same sizes and assuming it is better for track performance is not a good assumption.
