Bump. M Car Day is this Sunday.

This is shaping up to be a MEMORABLE event. The weather forecast is perfect (high 70s, no rain) and as far as I can tell the turnout might just be record breaking.

A lot of cool and special cars will be there, some great raffle items and two yummy food options. Plus Griot's Garage facility is always a treat

Come out and enjoy this great day. Don't miss out!
See you all on Sunday.

ps: The entrance to Griot's Garage lot will be from South Lawrence Street

Thanks to all who came out and made this event a HUGE success. We beat the record from last year with about 205 M Cars!!! People attended from as far as Portland and Vancouver, BC. Really cool.

Here is a great shot by one of our photographers. Looking forward to seeing a bunch more photos!

We came all the way from San Jose, CA. I think I was the only one representing the Golden Gate chapter

Had a blast caravaning back to Portland with a very nice E30 M3 and a couple of E34 M5s. My E90 was in good company!

BTW FrenchBoy, I sure liked the look of your brake setup. If I was tracking mine more than 3 times a year I'd probably pull the trigger on something similar.

I also noticed that you and I were the only E9X cars without iDrive. People like their nav systems in the Pacific NW I guess Down in the Bay Area it's more like 50% I see with a single hump.

Yup that was me. I took a long look at your E90 as fox red was the color we were going with before we decided on speedcloth.

I don't think we were the longest distance people...one of the guys directing traffic said there was somebody from Virginia there.

Today is the last day of our road trip. Should be back in San Jose this afternoon.

Yes, we were not able to move it. It was apparently the car of Richard's niece and she was out of town :-(

Thanks for the compliments. I track a lot - about 12 times a year - so this has been an awesome upgrade. I like the cleaner look of the non-iDrive as well.

I am sorry I didn't realize you came all the way from san Jose. CA. That's amazing and really cool. Did you come just for this event? I wish I had talked to you.
We need to have a Most Traveled award next year as this event is getting bigger and bigger. I was really pleased with the turnout and the quality of the cars.

Thanks much for coming. You made my day.

Yea man the LMB/ Fox Red really pops in person. Funny how BMW doesnt recommend that color combo.

I'd love to say we came just for the event, but we were up visiting family across the border in Victoria. However I did schedule the trip so we'd be back in Seattle for this event

We always seem to be up in the NW around this time each year so I'm planning to make this a yearly thing now!

We finished off the roadtrip late this afternoon with 2604 miles showing on the trip odo. Its also showing -800 miles on the oil change service...good thing I've been doubling up the oil changes with old school maintenance schedule.
