To let you know that I am not talking out of my A$$, it is 9hp at the crank ... Give them a call if you have any doubts ...

Yes, they pulled the engine of the car and measured it at the crank according to them.

Thanks Doba for clarifying that. 9 at the crank is really weak, yikes. May have to go with AA after all...

Does the AA software raise the rev limiter?

8600 rpm sounds fun lol. Even with the abysmal power advantage..

To Low

That's 4 hp at the wheels for $800. Terrible ,I though Dinan was on the leading edge of BMW's. I called them and they kept saying how long they have been around and how they knew Bimmers. If that is the case than why can't they at least get the car to pull 15hp at the wheels, like other not so well known companies have done.

I think this is Sticky's dyno going from stock to Powerchip ECU tune only:

And Powerchip's dyno claims:

No, the AA will not raise the rev limiter. I think because there is no gain in power but an large increase in risk.

I'm curious to see the actual graphs.

Too many people are quick to judge without having all the facts. I want to see the actual improvements in the powerband before jumping to conclusions.

Real quick and I'll start a new thread about this. I just had my AA Pulley Kit/system installed today at EuroRev. I had the AA ECU upgrade done at Bimmerfest and also my SSK kit installed last week also at EuroRev.

I gotta say (and yes I'm retarded as Eloy and Joe(RPI) will continue to point out that I didn't get a baseline dyno done before any of these mods), I feel like my E93 is a totally different car. She is literally "JUMPY" in low gear now. All three of these Mods give me some "SERIOUS BUT DYNO POWER".

My E93 is definitely not as fast as the Cpe off the line do to the weight difference, but damn is she a whole lot chippier off the block and raging hyena at 4750 RPMs and higher. Pulls and pulls and then "pulls away" from most.

Anyone considering getting these Mods, contact Omar @ Active and do it. You won't regret it.

Peace!

I just purchased the AA ECU software up grade, AA pulley,AA X-pipe w/high flow cats, I'm currently deployed in Iraq and not able to check this out for myself , my friend just put my ECU with the AA up grade back in my M3. Now all I need to do is have my X-pipes w/high flow cats and pulley installed next week I can't wait til I come home in June for a two week R&R break from Iraq and test out my M3 with all these performance up grades

I am pretty sure he either did a pulley or cat delete also at the beginning. So I don't believe that is flash only. I may be wrong. I also remember some comments from sticky and others, that it didn't feel like 20hp.

Which software did your tuner use. I've got a dyno tuner that's looking for good software for the E9x M3s.

In response to only getting a 9hp gain, you all should realize that a 9hp gain throughout the entire powerband is HUGE, so wait until you see a dyno sheet comparing stock vs chipped before you make such a quick judgement on the product. Peak hp isn't always everything.

Yeah I think the baseline was stock + pulley, still the flash added 20WHP according to the dyno. I have the reflash only and it feels maybe 15WHP to me, car breaks traction quite a bit on the shift from 2nd to 3rd in S5/S6, whereas stock the tires would only chirp. Car is definitely stronger down low which is where I think it needed it the most.

OVER 200 MPH (100 mph = 4,100 rpm) stock? Yeah, right!

Hey Man, I never said it, I just delivered the info off the website.

Trust me, I don't smoke the Dinan pipe, I did all AA stuff.
