What version of software is 7844945 (DME/DDE); 7844971 (EGS)?

I pulled this information from INPA...

On 10/12/2010, my 01/2009 build e92 M3 DCT was updated by the dealer...not sure if this updated me to 231E or not...hoping so...

Thanks for your assistance...R

received some help from someone on e90post...found out my software is e89x-10-09-511...since the date of this is after the integration date in the SIB 28 07 08 June-09 Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelog M3 with M DCT - Complaint of Delayed Throttle Response, does anyone know how else i might be able to get a dealer to update my software to the latest version so that my car has some of the enhancements noted that the 2011 builds have over the 08/09 builds (dct and ecu)?

I have an '09 E92 and recently had my software updated by the dealer. The version is now 3.57.4.003. Anyone know what this corresponds to? Did this get me 240E? Thanks!

Anything flashed at the dealer from 2013 and up will be 240E at minimum.

241E is the latest. Not sure what changed, but a few people here posted that they did not notice any difference with it.

I'm on the latest (AFAIK) E89X-15-11-500
Can't say it seems much different from the previous E89X-12-07-508 I had.
Of course it felt ultra quick when I picked it up after the update but it soon settled back down to the level of performance I had before.

At this point I don't forsee any substantial changes since the car has been out of production for a few years. The update cycle will probably become quite long.

Hoping Benvo or someone else can provide a bit of info on what's changed in the last few updates.

This afternoon I was able to find out I have E89X-12-07-507.

What prompted them to update your software?

The idrive had frozen up a couple of times...I had a fault code logged so they changed the radio cd unit and updated the software.

Sorry to dig up and old thread, I recently DOWNgraded from 231e to 220e was told by Ess that 220e is the best setup for my car . I'm running a supercharged vt2-625.

After downgrading I feel car has the tendency to stall during driving when the engine is not fully warmed up and the gears feels more clunky. Am I right to believe that 220e is NOT the best setup for my car? Regarding why I down graded was because I had a secondary air fault and asked Ess to code it out for me and they sent me a 220e file version. Hope someone could explain the stalling issue.

I'd you go with an alpine tune, it upgrades the stock software and then the tune on top of it. huge bang for buck

Pretty sure all the big name tuners do this.

Pretty sure they are also nearly twice the price and also don't have free unlimited map changes.
