How much i should pay for a new m3

Hey guys,

So i finally decided to purchase a new 2011 e92 m3. Here are the options:

alpine white / fox red interior
competition package
DCT
carbon fiber interior trim

MSRP US$67,925

I live in San Diego, and the dealer told me the difference between the MSRP and the invoice price is US$4,400 and they are wiling to do it for US$2,000 over the invoice price. They said they definitely can't do anything less than US$2,000.

What you guys think? i thought it is still too high. What is a reasonable price i should be paying for?

I am also going to do a trade in. I am trading in my 04 mazda rx8, the dealer offered me US$6,500 and maybe US$6,800 for the car. I went to carmax and they offered me US$6,000. I am thinking about trading in my car at the bmw dealership since they offer little extra but they can't do the trading in until the special order arrive. I am worried if i pick up the car in 2 months, and they try to drop the price on the trading in at last minute, is that possible?

Also i have a quick question related to european delivery. Is it possible to get a price close to the ED price without travel to Europe? I am just curious.

Any inputs or advise will be greatly appreciate!

Just went though a build process simlar to yours. With the help of the forum you should be in the 500-1000k over invoice range. Feel free to PM for more info some dealers are more willing then others.

Since you're in Cali contact golfrrr or he'll post here since he regularly checks these forums...he'll set you up with Ryan Amico and a much better deal. Saying they cant go anything lower than $2000 over invoice is complete bs.
