A3 TDI coming to America...

You may wonder why I posted this...Well the thing is this bodes well for the possibility of the 123d coming stateside to compete with the A3 TDI...what do you all think?

My wife's car may need to be replaced around 2010.... That'll be a great vehicle, I think.

Only 140hp? MEH - the A3 may be relatively small, but it's no lightweight so this will be one "sedate" ride. The A3 has been in the US for a few years now and it didn't motivate BMW to bring the hatches so I doubt the diesel will matter (unless it amazingly sells like hotcakes - which highly doubt).
