Willow Springs - Big Willow June 11-12th TRACK DAY

Update:

Top 3 BMW Drivers of the day will get trophies!!

Let's see if my vert can beat you coupes/sedans hehe

Extremespeedtrackevents will be at Willow Springs-Big Willow Road Course

June 11-12

$125 Track Day@Willow Springs-Big Willow-June 11-12th in Socal
(Discount code is: willow5) and you must register before May 25th in order to receive the discount.

And a couple of great specials I am helping set up with the organizer!
If you register before May 25th, do NOT sign up for timing.
Let me know and I will be able to get you (you=BMW Driver) FREE Timing!

However, in order to do so, you must put that you are with Persian54 in the note section (along with your car info) when you register!

Furthermore, there will also be free BBQ! included for all BMW Track Drivers.

Next:
There will be photographers and gorgeous models at the event; I want us to get as many BMWs together and have a huge photo shoot of our cars.

If this is your first time ever on the track, you are required to have some instruction.
If you are more experienced, then the instruction is purely optional.

Big Willow is my personal favorite track. You are able to really hit some nice high speeds. For those of us with E9X M3s, we will be able to make our V8s roar without issue.
ALL CARS WELCOME!
However, only those with me (i.e BMW drivers with me) will be able to get Free Timing. All BMW Drivers will receive free BBQ regardless of your association with me.

Let's represent
No offense to JDM guys as I love Japanese cars... But let's have a great group of BMWs together and take over

Any Questions email: info@extremespeedtrackevents.com
Or PM me (or text me for those who have my number)

Register here- https://www.extremespeedtrackevents....t-registration

Here are a couple of pictures from SOW:

Are you guys doing Saturday or Sunday? I can only do Saturday because there's time attack on that Sunday at BW.

They are two different tracks at the same location that belongs to Willow Springs Int. Raceway.
Big willow is high speed track which you can have average speed at 100mph in your stock M3. You need balls to drive fast over there because for the speeds at most of the turns are over 100 mph.
As comparison, SOW has only two short straight away's but lots of low speed turns. E92 M3 hates this track because it handles quite bad and heavy there.

So big willow is the one known to be "the fastest track in the west?"
Isn't this the track where you see all those YouTube vids of people rolling their cars?

If you go just to watch your friends can you pay for the BBQ?

Sounds like fun but i'm not overly experienced, is that an issue or can we beginners take it easier on the long bends?

I'm down for both days. But, if the general consensus is for one day only, then I think we should opt for Saturday so that wwjd15 & m3heaven can join us.

Yeah, just go at your comfort level. Nobody's out there racing for money or anything.

OC3 has it down right :P
Just come out to drive and have fun and enjoy yourself.
No pressure. No one is going to be judging you and how you drive.
Drive carefully and as fast as you yourself feel comfortable.

I am 90% going to do both days. I am going to look up how much a motel cost.
If it's really cheap, I'll spend the night there Friday and Saturday.
This way I don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to drive over on Saturday and I don't need to drive back on Saturday just to wake up and drive over again on Sunday lol.
What do you guys think of this idea?

Nice!
For SOW, it filled up already (more than 2 weeks before the track day) so let's make sure to not miss this!
Big Willow is a lot of fun and I can't wait.

I will 90% be there both days; now that I have a set of track rims/tires I don't feel as bad burning through my tires

and I can get a set of brake pads installed for cheap so I can't complain about that either.
