Great! Best pads ever.
Should I buy them even though I don't think I'll see the track again until 2010? I did just order some 295/30-18 PSCs, though. |

And Direct Drive Rotors that are a niec stop-gap before a brake kit. And PFC Z-Rated pads that are much lower dust and better performers than stock. And the combo should avoid the grating noise you get on the street after track use.
And the combo has some freebies tossed in: http://store.bimmerworld.com/Product1314 |

Hi everyone,
I've heard great things about Performance Friction pads. Is the 918-01 / 919-01 compound recommended for my M3 for spirited street driving? Would the temperatures reached with street driving be enough to get the pads into its proper heat range? Thanks! |

Although I've run the PF-01s on the street, it was only because I was too lazy to put the PF-Zs back in. The PF-01s will work at normal temps, but will make so much noise, you'll be embarassed when you come to a stop at intersections. |

Very seldom that this happens -- but not too long ago - I saw a gorgeous young lassie driving a stripped & lowered 997 GT3 with exhaust -- and I thought... 'ok, its prolly her boyfriends' ... but then ... she floors it and takes a corner like a pro - and I was like ...
saw her again weeks later too ... and heard squeal from the brakes - I almost wet myself rare but they're out there |
