custom x pipe and exhaust

Hello

I am planing to do a custom x pipe without cats or resonators.

I want to know if having it with stock backbox will not make it to loud and raspy.
2 big pipes replaced .

I am looking for minimal rasp and max high pitched race car sound.

I could also buy another non moded stock muffler.
Or make a custom backbox but then i would need flaps.
Adding smaller resonators is also an option with current oem mod.

There also can be no drone.

Any input appriciated.

I would leave the resonators in.

You will get drone no matter what.

It's fairly quiet low down, but ear piercingly loud (in real life) when you rev it

I think i will put some small resonators and if its not loud enough then just replace the remaining 2 small pipes in the oem muffler .

On the other hand im getting bored with the oem mod sound .

Looking for some change.

Nope - muffler completely stock.

Just the Remus race centre xpipe (no mid cats / res) - primary cats still in place.

I have seen this before .
That is crazy loud.

My x-pipe will have zero cats but 2 resonators , smaller then stock ones if i can find.
The X will be moved closer to the gearbox also for more gains.

I doubt there will be much (pwr) gain or noticeable ones at least.
You will get a bit more sound but not much by much if you leave the resonators in as well.

I finally did the x pipe .
At idle you cant really hear it.

There is some racket in low rpm but past 4000 RPM is a race car

The dyno guy said it sounds like a powerdriller.
