Proper thing to do in TX. law says if your in fear of your life. me being 5'10 170 lbs against 4 dudes. i would have stopped with my pistol concealed. called 9-1-1 to come and fill out a report for the guys damaging my car. if they approach you specially 4 of them u say you dont want any trouble into your phone where the 911 operator hears you. then if 4 dudes attack you, you brandish and if at that point they come at me. 4 on 1 = fear of my life and safety. Specially if my GF, 60+ yr old parent, etc r in the car. just my 2cents on the proper way to handle that situation.

No way an untrained civilian can think through that logic that quickly in the heat of the moment, especially when packing heat. Adrenalin production kicked into overdrive several minutes prior.

Also, why would you get out of your car and go at people with a bat? Just run the assholes over.
Maybe he got out of the car and asked those guys to pay for the damages to his car... if somebody stepped on the hood of my car i don't think i could keep my cool.

Perhaps he stopped his car to get their insurance information and took a bat just in case.

I don't know, it looked like they were in some "chinatown" area..
But truthfully in my experience, the stereotypical people who get tough in groups are usually cholo's or little asian guys..

Well that's because you live in Socal. I was joking btw.

I think guys who get in groups just assume the pack mentality, regardless of ethnicity.

Perhaps, but it's more about standing up for your rights a human being. Fight or flight.

Thanks man. The TRP Operator is outstanding. Any pics?

Haven't had the chance to take it out to the range yet.

You gotta get out! My TRP is all worn and scratched from years of service. It's actually at Springfield right now for new sights and some custom work. I'll post it when it gets back It is by far my favorite hand gun.

Hey Ybbiz, I was looking on Springfield Armory's site because you've got me interested...

Can you tell me what is that squeezy trigger thing on the rear of the handle is (I'm guessing some sort of safety) and why the trigger looks like it has two parts?

This is the XD45 ACP Compact.

Also, if anyone has any opinions/comments on Springfield as a company please chime in.
