First 2013 BMW Meeting (CALGARY)

So we finalized the meeting details So we are going to meet on May 26th. I will post this thread on other forums so hopefully we will see a variety of BMWs and Minis in this meeting (X1, X3, X5, X6, M3, M5, 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, etc.)

Initial Meeting Details:

Initial Meeting Location: The parking lot across BMW Gallery (650 Crowfoot Crescent NW, Calgary, Alberta, T3G 4S3)
Time: 10:15 AM

Lunch Details:

We decided to have lunch at Steak Pit (50 White Ave, Bragg Creek, Alberta)

Time: If we leave on time, we should be there around 12:00 PM
Route: The map and description is attached below as well. We are simply taking West Crowchild (1A) all the way to Cowboy Trail (22), we turn left to Cowboy Trail and that will get us to Steak Pit.

Driving Details:

We are going to drive to Elbow Falls after lunch.

Time: Hopefully we will leave Steak Pit by around 1:00 - 1:30 PM.
Route: We take Cowboy Trail and turn right to AB 66. Attached below is the map of this route.

The 18th is part of the long weekend. I'm new to the M3 Calgary world and the idea of a drive with some fellow M3 enthusiasts is appealing. The date will work for me.

That last photo by the BMW Dealership .. must have been from 2011, I can see myself in the photo and didn't go to any last year (at least I don't think I did?!)

Oh yeah man, it is from 2011. I copy / pasted last year thread to see if you guys want to do the same route. In that thread, it was mentioned that it is from the year before, so it is actually from 2 years ago

Probably looking at around 150km round trip, give or take.

Driven is on May 11th and some people can't make it.

I've taken my daughter to Steak Pit several times when she was younger .. no problems! I've not been there for a while, but I presume it's much the same.

For dates, I'm flexible .. except for May 11th (Driven -- which btw, everybody needs to go if they want to see MC12 Corsa!!)
