Need advice on new build prices

I am heavily weighing my options on a new compared to CPO, so I visited my local dealer and talked about some new M3 build out pricing.

I am looking at:

E92
AW
Fox Red
Carbon Trim
standard 19's
NAV
Premium Pkg
Convenience Pkg
Heated Seats

MSRP is coming out roughly around $68k

My SA wouldn't give me too many details on invoice and OTD pricing quite yet and explained they will get into the finer details later etc but said they mark up about 7%. I asked if that means I can expect about 7% off MSRP and he said no way as they need to make money on it too. He then explained the most people see from this dealer is about $3k off MSRP. He also stated they only have one more allocation for an M3 until May and thinks they won't get any more allocations as they are stopping E92 production in June (my experience is that E9X is going all the way through 2013) For some reason I just find this to be a very high number. Especially when I keep seeing peoples posts here that they are around 9-10% off MSRP or $500-1000 above Invoice

My question is, what exactly is a rough estimate on an invoice for this type of build out? (what can be expected OTD with $1000 above invoice, i know this varies from dealers but a ballpark would help).

Am I getting the shaft and should bargain harder?

should send a PM to Golfrr or give a call to Ryan Amico from Steve Thomas BMW. No bullshit, no negotiations, great deal and smooth transaction. If you want to calculate invoice yourself, go to Edmunds.com, make your build. $1000 over invoice is too much.

+1. You will save time and money buying from Ryan@Steve Thomas BMW. For an idea of invoice pricing you can use this site as a guide: http://www.bmwconfig.com/

Sounds good, anyone on the east side of the us? If no recommendations I will give Ryan a ring Monday. Should I tell him anyone in particular sent me?

Adrian Avila at BMW South Atlanta has beaten Ryan on pricing twice in my experience (the only two times I've conpared). Also a no-bullshit guy. Adriansbmw@gmail.com.

There is no more a Convenience Package available, only the Premium Package. The Premium Package includes the Nav. I would add the BMW Apps option even if you do not have an iPhone. That could be a clincher at resale.

Invoice price is roughly 7% below the $68345 MSRP.

+ 1 for Adrian. Your sales guy is lying. Send your build to Adrian and he will send you back numbers not words.
