Springs and PS Unit wear.

This afternoon on the way home, encountered a new noise after accelerating pretty hard to cross traffic. It started during the turn, and stayed even after I straightened everything out. It sounds kind of like a power steering unit that's low on fluid, but I don't have any warnings to that effect, and no drippage.

I'm envisioning a conversation which goes like this: "Mr Lloyd, we're sorry, but your H&R springs aren't OEM and have created extra load on your ps pump. Not covered under warranty...and that will be $1500."

BS or not-BS?

It would be a BS argument. Check your PS reservoir and see if it's low. If it's full, then take it in for a look. Springs don't affect the pump
